- 3+ years experience in similar medical device position
- Previous experience as Systems Engineer developing robotic-assisted surgical systems (strong plus)
- Understanding of systems engineering principles
- Ability to write clear, complete, testable system requirements
- Knowledge of medical device design controls, risk management, applicable standards
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., Polarion) (must)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving project needs
- Interest in contributing to cross-functional engineering activities
- Professional oral and written English
- French and German (nice to have)

- Define and evolve system architecture
- Contribute to system design
- Ensure consistency between requirements and development
- Organize and support user testing

- Validate design assumptions
- Refine system design
- Maintain alignment between regulatory requirements and DHF
- Maintain alignment with medical device standards
- Plan system engineering activities for product releases
- Support product roadmap activities
- Support risk management activities
- Contribute to reprocessing validation
- Contribute to biocompatibility assessments
- Contribute to labelling
- Contribute to Instructions for Use (IFU) development
- Contribute to IFU maintenance
- Contribute to other product development initiatives
