In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing innovative concepts for HARMAN Automotive, tackling complex challenges while ensuring high reliability standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve analyzing technologies, managing research projects, and facilitating knowledge sharing across the organization.

Anforderungen

• •Master’s degree in engineering (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Sciences or similar)
• •10 years of professional experience in the Automotive industry or research projects
• •Experience in leading international teams and project management
• •Experience with funding projects
• •Very good knowledge of Microsoft applications
• •Experience in mentoring and teaching technical knowledge
• •High analytical skills in solving complex problems
• •Structured and result-oriented working style
• •Ability to work in a team with intercultural communication skills
• •Business fluent in German and English
• •Experience in the manufacturing sector, design for manufacturing
• •Experience in Six Sigma (Green Belt), data science, simulation and/or machine learning
• •Willingness to travel within Germany & internationally on demand

Aufgaben

• •Scout smart technologies to identify innovative solutions
• •Analyze potential, challenges, and risks for HARMAN Automotive
• •Develop concepts and analyze portfolios for new technologies
• •Benchmark innovative technologies and conduct feasibility analyses in pilot projects
• •Communicate project results while aligning with HARMAN strategy and guidelines
• •Track project progress and benefits, identifying further potentials
• •Facilitate knowledge sharing and capacity building across the organization
• •Solve complex research and technical problems
• •Document and present work results to management and stakeholders
• •Recommend best practices to enhance products, technologies, and processes
• •Monitor and report key performance indicators
• •Optimize internal processes and maintain databases
• •Create presentations and documentation
• •Organize specialist conferences and in-house trade fairs
• •Provide instruction and support to students and trainees
• •Manage research projects in HARMAN Automotive
• •Acquire and apply for funding projects at various levels
• •Administer and lead national and international projects
• •Prepare project outlines, descriptions, and application documents
• •Submit funding requests and interim reports
• •Communicate with team members and external research partners
• •Handle research-oriented work packages
• •Report internally to management and evaluate completed projects
