Anforderungen
- 4+ years Oracle Database administration experience
- Hands-on Oracle Database administration in enterprise environments
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, or MongoDB
- Database migration experience (upgrades, platform, cloud)
- Knowledge of backup, recovery, business continuity, disaster recovery
- Performance tuning and SQL optimization experience
- Troubleshooting complex database issues
- Understanding of Linux/Unix environments
- Scripting for automation in Linux/Unix
- Familiarity with database security, access control, auditing
- Effective work in project-based environments
- Coordination with multiple stakeholders
- Strong English communication skills
Aufgaben
- Administer Oracle Database environments, including installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and lifecycle management
- Manage and support additional database platforms like PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL solutions
- Execute and coordinate database migration projects, including cross-version upgrades, platform migrations, cloud migrations, and database consolidation
- Plan and perform migrations from on-premise to cloud-based database services (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, or Azure)
- Support heterogeneous migration scenarios between different database technologies, ensuring data consistency, performance, and minimal service disruption
- Implement and maintain high-availability and disaster recovery solutions (Oracle Data Guard, RAC, and equivalents)
- Define and execute backup, restore, and recovery procedures across multiple database systems
- Monitor and optimize database performance, capacity, storage, and resource utilization
- Troubleshoot incidents, performance bottlenecks, replication issues, and database-related application problems
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and project teams to design database solutions aligned with business and technical requirements
- Produce technical documentation, operational procedures, migration plans, and handover material
- Contribute to automation and standardization initiatives for database provisioning, patching, and deployment
