- Deep knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS)
- Deep knowledge of hardware-software integration
- Certifications in embedded systems or software architecture (advantageous)
- Strong programming skills in C
- Strong programming skills in C++
- Strong programming skills in Python for embedded systems and automation scripting
- Hands-on experience in microcontrollers
- Hands-on experience in SoCs
- Hands-on experience in low-level drivers
- Hands-on experience in various communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, WiFi, BLE, Matter)
- Proficient in designing scalable, modular, secure embedded architectures
- Strong software modeling skills
- Strong interface definition skills
- Expertise in secure coding practices
- Expertise in product security standards
- Experienced with debugging tools
- Experienced with emulators
- Experienced with performance optimization for resource-constrained systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for embedded development
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitLab)
- Proven track record guiding agile and remote teams for embedded software projects
- Experience defining KPIs
- Experience applying industry best practices
- Experience introducing new tools and processes
