Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechatronics, electronics/engineering, or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- Experience with TEM, SEM/SDB, or XPS products is a plus
- Experience managing a team of Field Service Engineers is a plus
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing high-tech systems
- Technical competence at engineer II level or higher, Electron Microscopy preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English, German or French on B2 level or above preferred
- Highly organized and in control of administrative tasks
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Negotiation skills and commercial mindset
- Challenges the status quo, seeks improvement opportunities
- Valid driving license (B)
Aufgaben
- Provide line management for Field Service Engineers
- Manage and develop the performance of the FSE team
- Communicate internally with the team
- Lead and facilitate regular team meetings
- Coordinate regularly with sales and service teams
- Schedule staff efficiently
- Review FSE support requests with 2nd line support
- Manage escalations
- Participate in customer meetings
- Handle critical customer communication with the service manager
- Ensure health and safety protocols are followed
- Coordinate technical and non-technical training
- Support the regional service manager
- Plan and prepare installations with the RIPM and regional experts
- Perform field service activities up to 50% of working hours
