- 3+ years of experience with consumer-facing backend software development
- 1+ years of experience using TypeScript and Node.js
- Experience with relational, NoSQL, or vector databases
- Direct experience with building low-latency backend services for AR/VR
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and vector databases
- Experience with modern web front-end technologies
- Deep understanding of database optimization and high-availability patterns
- In-depth experience with Backend-as-a-Service platforms

- Design and implement features for Spectacles device and cloud
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams to understand product requirements
- Evaluate trade-offs and deliver innovative solutions
- Test and debug your work to ensure high quality
- Plan the roadmap and direct work for others
