- Experience with container and orchestration technology (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) in production
- Understanding of monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana)
- Effective communication in asynchronous, remote-first environments
- Curiosity, enjoyment of learning, and openness to using AI tools
- Business-fluent English (Level C1)
- Experience as a software developer, ideally with Python or Go
- German language skills (nice to have)

- Facilitate quick resolution of production issues
- Own secrets management
- Evolve secrets management
- Automate certificate management
- Develop security tooling
- Reduce operational toil through automation
- Improve tooling to reduce toil
- Create solid runbooks
- Participate in incident response
- Conduct root cause analysis
- Drive follow-up actions
- Prevent reoccurrence of issues
- Collaborate with development squads
- Collaborate with the Operations team
- Improve overall IGP reliability
