Anforderungen
- University degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in numerical simulation (FEA, multi-physics, or related)
- Solid understanding of physics and numerical methods
- Experience in mechanical design and productisation is an advantage
- Experience with or affinity for process automation (e.g. Python scripting)
- Knowledge of MSC Software tools, LS-DYNA and Siemens NX is beneficial
- Strong communication skills with interest in mutual learning and knowledge sharing
- Passion for simulation engineering and motivation for solving complex technical challenges
- Fluent in English; German is nice to have
- Hands-on, proactive, collaborative mindset, ability to work independently
Aufgaben
- Support product development using multi-physics numerical simulations
- Collaborate with Hexagon teams worldwide to accelerate innovation
- Set up high-accuracy FEA models for precision instruments
- Contribute to research and technology projects on simulation-driven development
- Develop and refine simulation methods and modeling techniques
- Build automated toolchains and evaluation pipelines using scripting
- Evaluate, benchmark, and advance commercial and open-source solvers
- Work in a specialized international simulation team with engineering experts
