Anforderungen
- Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or related field
- Actuarial qualification or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience in risk modeling (Solvency II or Basel II/III) in Property & Casualty Risk
- Fluent English; German proficiency is a strong advantage
- Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and statistical analysis tools/programming languages (R, Python)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical expertise and analytical capabilities
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus
- Interest or experience in other risk modeling areas (Operational Risk or Tax) is an advantage
- Previous experience in insurance, asset management, consulting, or digital/tech is a plus
- Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solutions
Aufgaben
- Validate Property & Casualty Underwriting Risk models
- Present validation results to senior management
- Provide actionable improvement recommendations
- Manage the model change process
- Collaborate with senior management and supervisory authorities
- Maintain communication with Model Owners and Internal Model entities
- Engage directly with the supervisory authority, BaFin
