Anforderungen
- Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience
- Several years experience in system/cloud/platform engineering
- Experience with public cloud platforms (ideally Google Cloud)
- Practical skills in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Hands-on experience with containers and Kubernetes (or similar orchestration)
- Knowledge of API Gateways / API Management solutions
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, automation, and basic scripting/programming (e.g. GoLang, Python, shell)
- Understanding of APIs and microservice architectures
- Experience with XML and API protocols (SOAP, REST, GraphQL, ODATA)
- Experience with secure authentication mechanisms (OAuthv2.0, JWT, SAML)
- Familiarity with monitoring and operations (dashboards, alerts, incident handling)
- Experience in agile teams
- Good collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent English skills
- German language skills (plus)
Aufgaben
- Automate infrastructure and platform tasks
- Implement and operate API gateway infrastructure
- Implement and operate Kubernetes workloads
- Implement and operate supporting cloud services
- Provision and manage Google Cloud resources using Terraform
- Contribute to GitOps for automated service deployments
- Set up and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting
- Define KPIs for platform availability and performance
- Collaborate with product teams on cloud application design
- Collaborate with product teams on API design
- Participate in incident handling and on-call rotations
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues
- Ensure security compliance for infrastructure and services
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort
- Improve system performance, stability, and availability
