- Lead design, architecture, and development of native Windows desktop applications
- Develop applications using Windows App SDK, WinUI, C#, XAML, and C++
- Define and enforce best practices for Windows desktop development
- Ensure code architecture, performance, and memory usage best practices
- Promote responsive UI and cross-version compatibility (Windows 10/11+)
- Maintain code maintainability best practices
- Drive accessibility efforts and integrate accessibility API support
- Validate support for Microsoft UI Automation and other Windows accessibility frameworks
- Ensure UI controls, focus management, and keyboard navigation support
- Ensure screen-reader support and usability for users with disabilities
- Collaborate with product designers, UX researchers, and QA
- Shape feature planning and UI/UX architecture for the Windows platform
- Contribute to the long-term roadmap for the Windows platform
- Take ownership of the full feature lifecycle: conception to maintenance
- Ensure quality, reliability, and consistency across releases
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex bugs and performance bottlenecks
- Resolve memory leaks, rendering issues, and compatibility problems
- Propose robust architectural or design solutions
