In this role, you will engage in deep technical work that shapes the future of the Ethereum ecosystem. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve tackling complex projects, supporting users, and collaborating with teams to ensure efficient delivery and robust engineering.

Anforderungen

• •At least 5 years of experience working on systems software
• •5+ years of experience with C++ or 2+ years of working with Rust
• •Product-oriented mindset
• •Prior experience working in a remote and globally distributed environment
• •Experience in cross-team collaboration
• •Comfort with adapting to changing requirements
• •Knowledge of Ethereum is a plus

Aufgaben

• •Maintain low-level functionality at the EVM bytecode level in Rust
• •Implement low-level functionality at the EVM bytecode level in Rust
• •Help triage GitHub issues for an open-source project
• •Support users of the open-source project
• •Tackle large and complex projects based on high-level product requirements
• •Identify and clarify project requirements
• •Analyze tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, user value, and non-functional requirements
• •Deep dive into user pain points and concerns
• •Independently solve complex design and architecture issues
• •Address previously unknown blockers and coding tasks
• •Prototype solutions for major risks and uncover unknowns
• •Act as a force multiplier for the team
• •Contribute to project management and roadmap planning
• •Outline risks and dependencies for projects
• •Break down scopes and roadmap items into tangible milestones
• •Optimize for fast delivery of project milestones
• •Maintain timely communication with management and other teams
• •Coach other engineers on technical topics
