- Experience with Snowflake or cloud data warehouses for query optimization
- Prior work on observability, monitoring, or telemetry platforms
- Familiarity with columnar storage, inverted indexes, or OLAP optimization
- Advanced degree in Computer Science (databases or systems focus)

- Own and improve metrics pipeline components
- Enhance ingestion, storage, and query execution
- Optimize caching and system performance
- Contribute to next-generation metrics system design
- Design and run architectural experiments
- Iterate quickly to validate changes
- Investigate and resolve customer performance issues
- Act as first responder for metrics latency issues
- Collaborate on cross-cutting concerns
- Work on query execution and caching
- Contribute to pipeline architecture
