As a Senior Scientist in the xRNA team, you will engage in designing and executing innovative siRNA experiments while collaborating with a dynamic team. Your work will focus on optimizing workflows and developing cutting-edge assays that advance RNA therapeutics.

Anforderungen

• •MS or Bachelor's/scientific apprenticeship with at least 5 years of industry experience or recent graduate PhD with 0-1 years of industry experience
• •Minimum of 3-5 years of laboratory research experience in pharma or biotech industry
• •Strong hands-on experience in cell and molecular biology techniques
• •Mammalian and primary cell culture
• •mRNA and protein isolation, characterization and quantification
• •Next-generation sequencing workflows
• •Experience with liquid-handling systems and automation of cell-based assays or strong interest in developing such
• •Proven ability to troubleshoot and refine assays
• •Strong competence in MS Office applications and data analysis software
• •Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• •Ability to collaborate and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented research environment
• •Familiarity with primary cell culture models
• •Exposure to bioinformatics and coding for data processing, visualization and analysis
• •Experience with specific automation platforms is a strong plus

Aufgaben

• •Design, plan, and execute siRNA screening experiments
• •Conduct cell-based transfection assays, qPCR, and reporter-based readouts
• •Develop and optimize novel biochemical and cell-based assays
• •Contribute to automated workflows using liquid-handling robotics
• •Drive improvements in lab organization and workflows
• •Implement new technologies and equipment in the lab
• •Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a matrix environment
• •Present data and conclusions clearly in verbal and written form
• •Maintain high-quality records in electronic lab notebooks
• •Analyze, interpret, and report results in a timely manner
