Anforderungen
- Postgraduate degree (preferably PhD) in biological sciences, biophysics, or analytical chemistry
- 3+ years biopharmaceutical industry experience in biomolecule characterization by LC-MS
- Experience in LC-MS method development, optimization, and qualification using QbD principles
- Advanced expertise in LC-MS bioanalytics for protein/peptide characterization, especially high-resolution MS (e.g., Orbitrap)
- Strong experience with peptide mapping, intact/subunit mass analysis, and MAM
- In-depth knowledge of PTM analysis (glycosylation, deamidation, oxidation, C-terminal variants)
- Expertise in data evaluation, interpretation, and reporting of complex LC-MS datasets
- Experience with additional bioanalytical workflows, particularly LC separation techniques (RP-LC, SEC, IEX, CE) is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience and knowledge in instrument operation and maintenance
- Good understanding of scientific process, including hypothesis development and experimental design (DoE)
- Strong expertise in biomolecule characterization using LC-MS approaches
- Advanced technical knowledge of mass spectrometry techniques and analytical assay development
- Ability to interpret complex analytical datasets and support scientific decision-making
- Strong scientific problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in interdisciplinary and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, documentation, and reporting skills
- Scientific enthusiasm, creativity, and hands-on laboratory mindset
- Proficient English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to provide technical support, guidance, and training to other scientists and team members

- Design and perform MS-based experiments
- Interpret results to support product characterization
- Develop and implement novel analytical methods
- Ensure methods meet quality by design principles
- Qualify methods according to project and product demands
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for mass spectrometry
- Provide scientific leadership and guidance
- Evaluate and implement new technologies
- Manage resources effectively
- Provide feedback to team members
- Author lab procedures, protocols, and reports
- Present at internal and external seminars
- Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain instruments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Support analytical studies and process development
- Ensure close collaboration with local and global functions
