- Deep expertise in Cisco networking (NX-OS, VXLAN)
- Deep expertise in Fortinet technologies (firewalls, switches, wireless access points)
- Advanced knowledge of routing protocols
- Advanced knowledge of security best practices
- Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols
- Deep expertise in security best practices and threat mitigation
- Automation scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in enterprise network engineering and security roles
- Proven expertise with Cisco Nexus (NX-OS) and VXLAN architectures
- Proven expertise with Fortinet ecosystem (FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiFAP)
- Strong understanding of BGP routing protocols and security implications
- Advanced troubleshooting skills in large-scale, multi-site environments
- Relevant certifications highly desirable (Fortinet NSE 4-7, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, CISM)

- Configure Fortinet firewalls for data centers and sites.
- Harden Fortinet firewalls for data centers and sites.
- Manage Fortinet firewalls for data centers and sites.
- Implement advanced security features (IPS, VPN).
- Implement network segmentation and segregation.
- Implement secure policies on Fortinet firewalls.
- Implement secure policies on network switches.
- Implement secure policies on wireless access points.
- Design robust routing architectures with BGP.
- Maintain robust routing architectures with BGP.
- Ensure secure routing configurations.
- Ensure resilience against routing-based attacks.
- Troubleshoot complex routing issues in large environments.
- Troubleshoot complex switching issues in large environments.
- Monitor network traffic and firewall logs using SIEM tools.
- Investigate security incidents.
- Remediate security incidents.
- Develop incident response playbooks for network and firewall events.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments on Cisco and Fortinet devices.
- Perform vulnerability remediations on Cisco and Fortinet devices.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
- Ensure compliance with internal security policies.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Mentor junior network engineers.
- Collaborate with global teams on consistent network security.
- Collaborate with global teams on consistent network architecture.
- Recommend emerging technologies for network security.
- Implement emerging technologies for network security.
