Anforderungen
- Technical degree in computer science, robotics, control technology, electrical or software engineering
- 6+ years of experience in instrument development, preferably in medical device industry
- Expertise in motion control, robotics, control theory, and signal processing
- Experience with scientific programming; knowledge of C++, C#, Python
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and research skills
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and technical project ownership
- Excellent communication and moderation skills in English
- German language skills (nice to have)
- Experience with agile principles and R&D development processes
- Passion for continuous learning and improvement
Aufgaben
- Lead drive concept evaluation, including actor/sensor types, transmission, and initialization
- Perform motor dimensioning, work point calculation, and simulation
- Review and refine robotic and automation concepts
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software/system architects
- Develop and improve internal control tools and processes
- Lead root cause investigations and risk assessments
- Mentor and coach engineers, apprentices, trainees, and students
- Initiate collaborations with academia and external partners
- Ensure compliance with processes, SOPs, directives, and guidelines
- Contribute to system-wide platform strategy
