Anforderungen
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or related sciences, Materials Science, Business, or Supply Chain
- Progressive strategic procurement experience with end-to-end ownership of complex raw materials, commodities, or direct materials categories in a global, matrixed organization
- Deep expertise in global chemical raw material markets
- Success leading high-value commercial negotiations, complex contracting, and supplier strategies
- Ability to advise, influence, and challenge executive-level stakeholders
- Collaborative, resilient, high-integrity leader comfortable with ambiguity, pressure, and executive visibility
- Experience leveraging digital procurement tools, analytics, and AI-enabled insights
- Professional certification such as CIPS, ISM, or equivalent is an advantage
Aufgaben
- Own and lead global category strategy development and execution
- Influence and align global category teams
- Serve as subject matter expert for assigned categories
- Lead major negotiations and strategic supplier partnerships
- Drive procurement opportunities to execution with business leaders
- Own and evolve multi-year global category strategies aligned to business priorities
- Deliver measurable value through cost transformation, risk mitigation, supply assurance, sustainability, and innovation
- Translate market intelligence into actionable sourcing strategies
- Identify and unlock value creation opportunities through alternative materials, supplier innovation, technology, and optimized sourcing
- Challenge, influence, and co-create value with senior leaders in Supply Chain, Operations, R&D/Technology, and Finance
- Advise senior leadership through market briefings, strategic recommendations, and risk/opportunity assessments
- Lead global category teams through influence in a matrixed environment
- Align regional and functional stakeholders behind a common strategy
- Drive disciplined execution worldwide
- Act as lead commercial negotiator for major raw materials and strategic supplier agreements
- Shape outcomes on complex contracts with significant business impact
- Lead global supplier relationship management programs to elevate performance, accelerate innovation, and optimize total value
- Strengthen strategic partnerships with suppliers
- Lead proactive risk reviews and mitigation strategies across the portfolio
- Leverage dual sourcing, regional diversification, inventory strategies, and commercial levers to protect business continuity
- Collaborate with R&D/Technology on material qualification, substitution, and innovation initiatives
