- Significant exposure in different parts of organization
- Strong expertise in design, installation, commissioning of spray drying, fluid bed drying, agglomeration, other powder process units
- Up-to-date knowledge of quality, safety, ATEX, hygiene requirements, Net Zero technologies
- Practical experience operating spray dryers, fluid beds, powder handling
- Extended knowledge in CFD, DEM, systems modelling
- Experience working with universities, research institutes on new technologies
- Extended CAPEX project management, industrial troubleshooting experience
- Teamwork ability
- Strong leadership qualities
- Openness and flexibility
- English proficiency
- Spanish language skills (nice to have)

- Propose and drive new spray drying technologies
- Propose and drive new powder handling technologies
- Propose and drive digital and process simulation
- Explore and validate breakthrough spray drying technologies
- Explore and validate breakthrough powder transformation technologies
- Build and document knowledge on spray drying trends
- Build and document knowledge on powder handling trends
- Develop CFD models for rapid design
- Develop Python and Excel tools for deployment
- Drive heat recovery designs for Zero Carbon
- Drive heat integration designs for Zero Carbon
- Integrate heat pumps for Zero Carbon targets
- Lead spray drying R&D projects
- Lead powder transformation R&D projects
- Manage R&D project budget and scope
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for CAPEX deployment
- Provide expert support on spray drying to markets and factories
- Provide expert support on powder handling to markets and factories
- Share knowledge with the spray drying network
- Promote best practices within the spray drying network
- Provide engineering expertise for powder processing
- Ensure safe and efficient powder processing
- Drive deployment of advanced spray drying technologies
- Drive scale-up of advanced powder transformation technologies
- Ensure operations meet safety and quality standards
- Ensure operations meet operational and sustainability standards
