- Guide cross-functional projects, including non-HCP programs.
- Ensure continuous development and training for your team.
- Coach and mentor team members.
- Set clear performance expectations.
- Monitor performance progress.
- Deliver fair and effective performance reviews.
- Plan and monitor the departmental budget.
- Lead team hiring.
- Ensure excellent onboarding for new team members.
- Participate in exchange with the medical community.
- Maintain a thought leader network.
- Contribute to development of European and global medical POAs.
- Provide strategic input into Business Unit strategy.
- Provide strategic input for Business Plan of Action (BPOAs).
- Contribute to Market Access strategy development.
- Deliver the medical part of the Market Access plan.
- Collaborate with colleagues across diverse functional areas.
- Contribute to the overall country Medical Affairs strategy.
- Serve on the country Medical Leadership Team (MLT).
- Stay updated on industry Medical Affairs management approaches.
- Stay updated on medical and scientific developments.
- Contribute local medical expertise to global product development.
- Lead or contribute to organizational projects at all levels.
- Represent Gilead Germany to internal and external stakeholders, including expert groups and scientific meetings.
