Anforderungen
- 5+ years working experience as a Data Engineer
- Expertise in designing and developing Data Pipelines
- Strong background in cloud infrastructure, especially AWS
- Proven programming experience with Python and Scala
- Experience with relational databases and advanced SQL queries
- Experience with CI/CD and bash scripting
- Practical experience with Docker and working knowledge of Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of DBT and understanding of Tableau
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Solution-oriented with excellent attention to detail
- Creative problem-solving abilities and passion for data
Aufgaben
- Manage and scale Moonfare's BI data infrastructure
- Develop and maintain data pipelines from ingestion to storage
- Model data using data lake and warehouse concepts
- Optimize performance through partitioning and file tuning
- Champion standards, processes, and best practices
- Implement least-privilege IAM and encryption
- Handle data classification and PII management
- Contribute to data governance policies
- Conduct data analysis experiments for stakeholders
- Translate requirements into robust data solutions
- Review code and mentor peers
- Ensure data cleansing and coding consistency
- Promote data availability and quality
- Share ideas and introduce new tools and methodologies
- Collaborate with analysts to understand data requirements
- Provide efficient data solutions
