Senior Compliance Officer(m/w/x)
Implementing and maintaining local data protection policies at a global payment services provider. Deep knowledge of GDPR and local data protection legislation required. Exposure to diverse international privacy laws.
Anforderungen
- Degree in Law, Business, related field, or equivalent compliance experience
- Proven experience drafting, negotiating, reviewing legal documents
- Deep knowledge of GDPR and local data protection legislation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Native/highly fluent German and business fluent English
- Familiarity with Ethics/Regulatory frameworks (e.g., anti-bribery, whistleblower, PSD2/PSR, CESOP)
- Familiarity with DORA or EBA guidelines on Outsourcing
- Affinity for payment technology infrastructure and systems
- Knowledge of international sanctions and export control
- Hands-on experience with OneTrust
- Relevant professional certifications (CIPP/E, CIPM, CFE, ACAMS-ABAC)
- Fluency in other European languages (e.g., French, Spanish)
Aufgaben
- Implement local data protection policies
- Maintain local data protection processes
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Stay informed on privacy law developments
- Provide expert guidance on data protection
- Draft and negotiate data processing agreements
- Manage Works Council consultations
- Act as contact for data protection authorities
- Maintain records of processing activities (RoPA)
- Support data protection impact assessments (DPIAs)
- Manage data subject requests
- Lead data breach response procedures
- Conduct company-wide data protection trainings
- Conduct local data protection trainings
- Liaise with the Group Data Privacy Office
- Contribute to the global privacy community
- Design, implement, and maintain ethics programs
- Develop ethics policies and controls
- Manage internal fraud and corruption risks
- Provide guidance on third-party due diligence
- Advise on conflicts of interest
- Advise on gifts and hospitality
- Negotiate ethics-related contract clauses
- Develop and deliver ethics training programs
- Serve as contact for ethical concerns
- Handle whistleblowing cases
- Manage confidential reports
- Lead fair and timely investigations
- Monitor payment regulatory environment
- Maintain a central knowledge base
- Provide actionable regulatory summaries
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Advise on business initiatives and contracts
- Define, review, and update compliance framework
- Manage regulatory reporting requirements
- Coordinate projects within compliance network
