- Very good insight into Banking laws & requirements, willingness to learn local Banking laws
- Good English and German language skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in audit tools, data analytics, and reporting systems
- Deep understanding of operational and financial controls, process optimization, risk mitigation
- Strong report writer with legal and factual subsumption focus
- Robust and defensible reporting
- Audit Leadership and audit quality assurance
Aufgaben
- Support business internal audit activities across the N26 group
- Conduct internal audit activities with external contractors
- Lead the full audit cycle, including risk and control management
- Ensure operational effectiveness, reliability, and compliance
- Prepare a risk-based annual audit plan for business functions
- Audit in-house and outsourced processes and subsidiaries
- Adhere to professional and regulatory standards
- Prepare detailed internal audit reports
- Communicate findings and agreed actions to management
- Report regularly to management boards and committees
- Monitor timely resolution of audit findings
- Participate in strategic projects while maintaining independence
- Supervise junior auditors and review their outputs
