- Ability to align technical/non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work hybrid (Berlin, London, or Iasi)
- Experience with Apache Iceberg, AWS Athena, AWS Glue, or Apache Spark
- Streaming/real-time data pipelines (Kinesis)
- Experience with EventBridge, SQS, or similar messaging systems
- Multi-level caching strategies (Redis, DynamoDB, in-memory)
- Serverless at scale (Lambda, SAM, CloudFormation)

- Develop event-driven pipelines for production
- Leverage agentic AI tools daily
- Address backend challenges (latency, reliability, scale)
- Architect systems end-to-end
- Implement system solutions
- Deploy critical systems
- Monitor system performance
- Respond to system incidents
- Make key architectural decisions
- Conduct thorough code reviews
- Mentor engineering team members
- Improve development tooling
- Improve development processes
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams
- Shape future product direction
