- Designing, building, and running large scale Java or Python backend systems
- Problem-solving and analytical skills

- Big-picture thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Machine Learning experience (plus)
- SQL experience
- DynamoDB experience (plus)
Aufgaben
- Bridge the gap between research and production
- Shorten the research-to-user loop
- Reduce duplication of efforts
- Ensure ML features are reliable and observable
- Make ML features easy for other teams to adopt
- Own model deployment and rollout pipelines
- Build and maintain infrastructure and tooling
- Run data collection systems for ML training
- Work closely with AI Platform and research leads
- Ensure experimental code is production-ready
- Build internal apps and services
- Create tooling and processes for safe and quick model deployment
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Gen AI group
- Work on cutting-edge AI features
- Support data scientists, MLEs, PMs, and designers
- Participate in planning and development of building blocks
- Develop training data pipelines
- Create data visualizers and aggregators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Design high-performance, scalable backend components
- Maintain reusable backend components
- Implement best practices for backend engineering
- Foster a culture of continuous learning
- Participate in code reviews
- Ensure adherence to coding standards
- Contribute to backend architecture and design
- Ensure maintainability and extensibility of systems
