- Build and maintain scalable backend services
- Design scalable backend systems with clear service boundaries
- Own features from concept to deployment
- Define and implement APIs, services, and infrastructure
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers
- Establish development standards, CI/CD, and best practices
- Mentor engineers with code reviews and technical feedback
- Continuously improve workflows with modern tooling and AI
- Write effective AI prompts
- Critically evaluate AI output
- Identify AI limitations and failure modes
- Explore AI-driven development workflows
- Identify technical risks early
- Propose effective technical solutions
- Contribute to architecture and system design discussions
- Improve team engineering standards and productivity
- Contribute to technical decision-making
