Developing and operating scalable AI platforms with a Semantic Data Layer for BMW Group. Expertise in ontologies and graph databases required. 6 weeks annual leave, flexible working hours.

Anforderungen

  • University degree in computer science, mathematics, or comparable qualification
  • At least 5 years software/platform engineering experience
  • Experience in cloud environment (AWS or Azure)
  • Strong experience with graph databases and semantic technologies
  • Solid expertise in ontologies, knowledge graphs, semantic data modeling
  • Experience building/operating enterprise data platforms
  • Focus on scalability, performance, user experience in data platforms
  • Practical experience in machine learning or generative AI
  • Knowledge of modern programming languages (Python, Java, Go)
  • Knowledge of API technologies
  • Deep understanding of IT security, data protection, compliance
  • Very good English skills
  • German skills are an advantage

Aufgaben

  • Develop and operate scalable, secure, high-performance AI platforms
  • Automate infrastructure, deployments, and workflows using DevOps and MLOps tools
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and architects to design a Semantic Data Layer
  • Apply ontologies and semantic context to improve AI agent and system outcomes
  • Ensure platform quality, stability, and security through monitoring, observability, and logging
  • Maintain compliance and documentation standards
  • Engage in the BMW AI Community to share best practices
  • Promote a positive developer experience
  • Evaluate new technological trends
  • Contribute expertise to the development of BMW’s AI landscape
