- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Familiarity with GenAI tooling (e.g., LangChain) is a plus
- Clear communication of complex topics in English/German
- Collaborative working style
Aufgaben
- Scout emerging technologies in AI, design automation, mechanical engineering, and simulation
- Develop prototypes and PoCs for neural networks, surrogate models, agentic workflows, and LLM-based engineering assistants
- Create AI-driven models for condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and lifecycle optimization
- Integrate sensor data, simulation results, and engineering domain knowledge
- Formulate hypotheses, train models, validate results, and analyze data
- Transfer research into robust, scalable solutions for engineering and operations
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product development teams in DE/USA
- Document results and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
- Transfer to Wolfratshausen after a three-year program in Weinheim
- Focus on application and scaling of AI-supported engineering solutions in R&D
