As a Rocket Engine Design Engineer, you will focus on creating and refining CAD models, designing engine components, and collaborating with teams to ensure manufacturability and integration of innovative rocket engine designs.

Anforderungen

• •Degree in Space Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar
• •Minimum of 2 years of full-time experience
• •Advanced skills in CAD modelling
• •Profound understanding of rocket engine design process and subsystems
• •Profound understanding of physics, fluid dynamics, manufacturing processes, and rocket engine/propulsion systems
• •Profound understanding of manufacturing methods of rocket engine components
• •Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and teamwork skills
• •Proficiency in both German and English
• •Knowledge of Creo is an advantage
• •Experience with Windchill is an advantage
• •Experience with qualification/certification
• •Work experience in a start-up environment

Aufgaben

• •Maintain and manage the master CAD model of the rocket engine
• •Design engine components and create detailed technical drawings
• •Perform thermo-mechanical simulations and iterate designs based on results
• •Ensure manufacturability, tolerance accuracy, and material suitability
• •Coordinate with analysis, test, and integration teams for design updates
• •Communicate with suppliers about manufacturability and design requirements
• •Review supplier drawings for compliance with specifications
• •Maintain BOMs and assist with procurement and assembly
• •Document design changes through the engineering change process
