Anforderungen
- Master’s degree in Robotics, CS, or related engineering
- Experience in robotics, autonomous navigation, exploration, motion planning, SLAM, or related
- Strong C++ and Python programming skills with ROS1/ROS2 experience
- Experience implementing/validating robotics algorithms on real systems
- Solid understanding of path planning, state estimation, mapping, probabilistic robotics, or optimization
- Drone experience is a plus
- Hands-on mindset with strong analytical skills
- Ability to bridge research ideas with practical deployment
- Comfortable reading/implementing concepts from scientific literature
- Fluent English
- French or other languages are a plus

- Advance navigation capabilities of autonomous drone platform
- Improve robotic systems' perception and operation in complex environments
- Research and design methods for autonomous navigation
- Implement environmental understanding for robotic systems
- Develop algorithms for autonomous operation
- Balance reliability, efficiency, and mission requirements
- Integrate new capabilities into existing navigation stack
- Validate performance through simulation and real-world experiments
- Define evaluation criteria for system performance
- Assess robustness, efficiency, and reliability of the system
- Evaluate overall system behavior
