- Ensure compliant formulation and recipe management
- Lead scientifically robust recipe development
- Integrate ingredient functionality and nutrient targets
- Account for process losses and shelf-life evolution
- Ensure manufacturing feasibility in recipe development
- Embed compliance in innovation and renovation projects
- Validate and document formulations according to standards
- Share formulation expertise and best practices
- Train recipe and ingredient specialists
- Support Product Developers and cross-functional teams
- Provide technical decision support
- Assess trade-offs and variability in formulations
- Mitigate risks in ingredients and manufacturing
- Simplify and harmonize recipes and specifications
- Reduce portfolio complexity
- Improve operational efficiency
- Support scale-up and transfer activities
- Challenge existing practices and processes
- Improve existing tools and systems
- Track and report on portfolio visibility
- Maintain approval readiness
- Monitor formulation-related KPIs
- Respond to compliance and data challenges
