Anforderungen
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field
- 2-5 years experience in industrial equipment design, process equipment engineering, or water/chemical/pharma projects
- Strong understanding of pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, pumps, and valve technologies
- Familiarity with design standards: PED, EN13445, EN13480, ASME VIII, API, ISO
- Ability to interpret engineering documents, specifications, and process information
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality documentation
- Ability to perform, check, and review technical calculations for process equipment
- VT2 (Visual Testing Level 2) qualification required
- International Welding Engineer (IWE) certification is a strong advantage
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary project environment
- Proficiency in English: strong verbal and written communication skills
- German and/or French is an advantage
- Swiss or EU citizenship, or valid working permit in Switzerland
Aufgaben
- Select and specify process equipment
- Perform material selection for components
- Define piping, valves, and instrumentation
- Develop and review P&IDs
- Prepare and maintain datasheets and specifications
- Support project managers with technical input
- Review vendor documents and fabrication drawings
- Perform source inspections at manufacturers
- Provide site support during construction
