As a Procurement Manager for Engineering, you will play a key role in shaping procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of production equipment, all while driving continuous improvement in the procurement process.

Anforderungen

• •Bachelor degree in business administration, engineering, or comparable qualification
• •Several years of professional experience in procurement and supplier management
• •Strong negotiation, communication, consulting skills, persuasiveness, and resilience
• •Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• •Experience with ERP systems and other procurement software
• •Knowledge of market trends and supplier landscape in production facilities
• •Network within production equipment supplier landscape, ideally in pharmaceutical industry
• •Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• •Teamwork skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment
• •Proven project management skills
• •Experience in Swiss (contract) law

Aufgaben

• •Support global category managers in implementing procurement strategies
• •Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers worldwide
• •Manage tendering and RFP processes for production equipment in Switzerland
• •Negotiate contracts with suppliers based on Swiss law
• •Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery
• •Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with contracts
• •Participate in project teams and collaborate with production and engineering
• •Ensure on-time delivery of production equipment and prevent supply bottlenecks
• •Monitor and improve supplier performance and procurement processes
• •Prepare reports and analyses to aid decision-making
• •Advise departments on commercial matters
• •Drive continuous improvement in the procurement department
• •Consolidate and optimize the supplier portfolio
