Process Engineer(m/w/x)
Industrializing and optimizing engine part machining repair processes for an Engine MRO service provider. NC/CNC programming and aerospace MRO knowledge required. Collaboration with Shop Floor Operations and Engineering teams.
Anforderungen
- Operation and support of NC/CNC manufacturing processes
- Development and optimization of programs for 6-axis robotic systems
- Creation of NC/CNC machining programs with/without CAD/CAM software
- Application of manufacturing and aerospace MRO knowledge
- Maintenance of strong safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards
- Project management and continuous improvement initiatives
- Use of lean manufacturing and quality methodologies
- Independent and cross-functional teamwork
- Proactive, flexible, and execution-focused approach
- Mechanical engineering background (BSc/MSc or equivalent)
- Fluent English communication skills
- German language knowledge (advantageous)
- EU passport, Swiss passport, or Swiss working permit
Aufgaben
- Industrialize and optimize engine part machining repair processes
- Lead industrialization of processes and equipment with Shop Floor Operations
- Collaborate with Operations, Process Engineering, Tool and Equipment Engineering, Shop Engineering, and Machine Maintenance
- Define standardized machining repair processes meeting OEM, customer, and internal standards
- Manage peening, milling, turning, and grinding processes
- Conduct continuous process improvement using Safety, Lean, Quality, and Engineering tools
- Coach and train operations colleagues in best manufacturing practices
- Support industrialization projects according to SQDCP plan
- Define mitigations for industrialization projects when necessary
- Support industrialization of new and existing repairs
- Ensure Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery are not impacted for customers
