  • At least 5 years in policy research environment
  • Knowledge of and experience in trade policy
  • Experience working within or with government
  • Experience with multistakeholder processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to produce publication-ready analysis independently
  • Collaborative work with staff and partners
  • Entrepreneurial approach and initiative
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work in French and/or Spanish
  • Experience with governments/stakeholders in developing countries
  • Appropriate work authorization in Geneva, Switzerland

Aufgaben

  • Lead primary and secondary research on trade and sustainable development
  • Write reports and policy documents for the program
  • Organize meetings, webinars, and events
  • Develop concepts to advance the program’s work
  • Identify and brief speakers for events
  • Identify participants and develop agendas
  • Produce meeting reports
  • Collect and maintain information for monitoring and evaluation
  • Contribute to donor reporting
  • Support fundraising by contributing to funding proposals
  • Develop business development materials
  • Establish and maintain a network of partners and contacts
  • Engage with government missions to the World Trade Organization in Geneva
  • Work with the IISD Communications team to develop communications materials
  • Represent projects and programs at forums, conferences, and public events
  • Collaborate with IISD staff, affiliates, partners, and consultants
  • Lead working groups and manage consultants
  • Stay updated on emerging issues related to the program
