Connecting renewable energy assets across Europe, focusing on plant connectivity and SCADA environments. Several years of experience with industrial communication protocols and APIs required. 50% mobile office, individual further training opportunities.

Anforderungen

  • Degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications, computer engineering or comparable technical field
  • Several years of experience in plant connectivity and SCADA environments within renewable energy, ideally in solar PV or battery storage systems
  • Strong understanding of networking, system interfaces and device-level communication within energy plant environments
  • Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus TCP/IP, MQTT, IEC-based) and APIs for data access/integration
  • Practical mindset and ability to identify/resolve connectivity issues in complex plant environments
  • Effective communication and confident collaboration within international and cross-functional teams
  • Fluent English; German, Italian or other European language skills are a plus
  • Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe

Aufgaben

  • Connect and enable renewable energy assets across Europe
  • Ensure reliable and secure connectivity of renewable energy assets
  • Work at the intersection of engineering, IT/OT, and operations
  • Assess communication architectures for existing and new projects
  • Resolve complex connectivity challenges
  • Drive standardization of communication and interface definitions
  • Take ownership of plant-level connectivity and integration
  • Ensure seamless communication between plant-level components
  • Integrate plant-level components into central monitoring platforms
  • Support analysis and resolution of connectivity issues
  • Coordinate with local O&M providers for connectivity support
  • Contribute to the standardization of connectivity concepts
  • Collaborate with IT/OT teams for secure system architectures
  • Support network and information security requirements
  • Ensure consistent data availability and quality
  • Integrate systems into central SCADA and monitoring platforms
