- Medical degree from accredited, internationally recognized medical school
- Specialty board certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical trials experience as investigator or medical/clinical expert in Pharma, CRO, or Biotech industry
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Good command of English language (written and spoken)
- Robust and current knowledge of scientific, clinical, regulatory, commercial, and competitive landscape in applicable therapeutic area
- Proven consultation and advice skills on multiple assignments
- Initiative and flexibility
- Periodic regional and international travel
Aufgaben
- Provide medical and clinical advisory expertise
- Participate in Medical Science involvement
- Serve as medical expert during project delivery
- Provide therapeutic and medical expertise for business development
- Serve as Global or Regional Medical Advisor
- Provide scientific guidance to Project Leaders
- Support investigative sites and project staff for protocol issues
- Review and clarify protocol-related documents
- Train project clinical team on therapeutic areas
- Attend and present at Investigator Meetings
- Review and clarify trial-related Adverse Events
- Review Serious Adverse Events with Pharmacovigilance
- Support Analysis of Similar Events with Pharmacovigilance
- Review adverse event coding
- Review Clinical Study Reports and patient narratives
- Attend Kick-Off, weekly team, and client meetings
- Respond to urgent protocol questions 24/7
- Advise on medically sound delivery strategies
- Develop medically related aspects of client proposals
- Review protocols for scientific and regulatory soundness
- Identify target sites and principal investigators
- Anticipate patient recruitment and standard of care
- Attend and present at bid defense meetings
- Participate in strategic business development activities
- Maintain awareness of industry developments
- Author related publications
