- Master’s degree in science and engineering with R&D experience
- Specialization in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics
- Advanced knowledge in mechanical and mechatronic systems design
- Experience in sensors, actuators, and system regulation
- Proficiency in CAD design tools for mechanical engineering, preferably PTC Pro/ENGINEER (Creo)
- Solid experience in manufacturing-oriented design of mechanical assemblies
- In-depth knowledge of production methods and process engineering for mechanical and mechatronic parts and assemblies
- Experience preparing technical reference documentation
- Experience in requirements management and systems engineering
- Experience performing design transfers to production
- Creativity and analytical skills
- Assertiveness
- Hands-on mentality
- Demonstrated ability to work and contribute in a team environment
- Knowledge of standards: ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820.30, IEC 14971, IEC 62366, IEC 60601
- Knowledge in ERP system; Preferably Infor SyteLine
- Knowledge in Multiphysics simulation, FEM
Aufgaben
- Develop and integrate mechatronic assemblies for complex medical systems
- Capture and define technical requirements and specifications
- Develop concepts for functional and mechanical safety
- Create function- and manufacturing-ready 3D models and technical drawings
- Analyze and implement cost-reduction concepts without compromising quality
- Create component and system specifications and quality documents
- Plan and execute tests to verify mechanical and system requirements
- Evaluate and document test results
- Maintain bills of materials (BOMs)
- Conduct tests to verify mechanical and mechatronic product requirements
- Optimize and maintain products and systems for stable operation
- Perform engineering tasks during prototype setup and start-up
- Coordinate and track engineering tasks on a project-specific basis
- Assist project management with engineering-related task planning
- Represent engineering in project team meetings
- Coordinate with third-party suppliers and contractors
- Monitor technological trends in mechanics and mechatronics
- Adhere to national and international standards and regulations
- Follow requirements stated in system specifications
- Meet project goals and costs
- Comply with process definitions in product design
