Aufgaben
- Develop and qualify novel polymer and composite materials for cryogenic, high-voltage, and radiation-resistant accelerator technologies.
- Design and validate manufacturing and processing techniques for insulation systems, including resin transfer, bonding, composite fabrication, and additive manufacturing.
- Lead research and design projects to address evolving needs of CERN accelerator complex and experimental facilities.
- Identify material technologies and processing techniques for laboratory development.
- Establish new experimental capabilities for the laboratory.
