- Enrollment as a full-time student in computer science, electrical engineering, communications, or similar
- Solid understanding of quantum mechanics principles and strong interest in quantum information or quantum communication
- Familiarity with basic optical components and experience with assembling and aligning optical setups
- Familiarity with Linux and basic command line tools, and Python programming
- Fluency in English or German
- Awareness of compliance risks and commitment to integrity
