- Qualification as inhouse legal counsel
- Lawyer’s practicing certificate
- Legal bachelor or master degree
- Practically related energy experience
- Additional qualifications in EU jurisdictions or regulatory/public law expertise
- Profound knowledge of European and German laws
- Knowledge of Energy and Environmental laws
- Experience in related administrative processes
- At least 5 years post qualification/graduation experience
- At least 2 years expertise in comparable in-house role
- At least 2 years expertise in energy consultancy/auditor
- At least 2 years expertise in law firm
- At least 2 years expertise with energy related public authority
- Hands on industry knowledge in gases/chemical sector
- Hands on industry knowledge in energy sector
- Experience in cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Desire to work in cross-functional teams
- Experience in trans-national teams
- Ability to work in trans-national teams
- Desire to work in trans-national teams
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to prioritize
- Business fluent English

Aufgaben
- Advise regional functions on operations, procurement, and SHEQ
- Support core teams across remote operations centers
- Collaborate with German and European energy and procurement teams
- Work with regional and national management and the EMEA Legal Team
- Serve as an integral member of the Global Law Department
- Handle European, German, and national energy and climate change law matters
- Draft and review procurement and sales contracts under European legal frameworks
- Cover topics like Green Hydrogen, Carbon Capture Storage/Utilization, and decarbonization strategies
- Provide legal support in operational matters and general procurement
- Assist with Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) issues
- Address regulatory topics and litigation as needed
