Key Account Manager(m/w/x)
As a Key Account Manager, you will engage with customers from initial inquiries to equipment delivery, leveraging your expertise in pump technology to drive sales and manage projects effectively. This role involves collaborating with various teams and ensuring successful project execution in your designated market.
Anforderungen
- Higher degree in mechanical or chemical engineering; business administration degree is a plus
- Affinity to manage commercial topics for multimillion order values; negotiation skills
- Several years of experience in sales and back-office activities for petrochemical and polymer producing customers
- Proven record in business development outside of Europe in the polymer producing chemical industry
- Fluent English (verbal, in writing); eagerness to learn German; Gujarati or other Indian language skills are a plus
- Willingness to travel from time to time (approx. 10-20%) to visit customers on-site and headquarters
Aufgaben
- Prepare quotations and process orders for customers
- Influence customer buying decisions with expertise in pump technology
- Lead projects by monitoring costs, pricing, and progress
- Manage milestones and delivery dates for projects
- Address contractual deviations and challenges during execution
- Report monthly on project results and business developments
- Propose corrective measures as needed
- Collaborate with internal departments and key suppliers
- Conduct project kick-off meetings and customer inspections
- Perform rolling margin and post cost calculations
