- Full-stack enterprise application development with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React)
- Experience with build, test, and deployment toolchains
- Experience with SQL, relational databases, and Java database integration
- Experience in agile development teams
- Modern development workflows including Git, CI/CD (e.g. GitLab), containerisation, GitOps
- Experience maintaining and implementing features in legacy applications
- Full-stack development with Java, Spring Boot, JavaScript, React, similar frameworks
- Understanding of modern software design, architecture principles, patterns in Java/JavaScript ecosystems
- Knowledge of Git or equivalent VCS
- Knowledge of containerised software solutions
- Knowledge of GitOps software development workflows
- Knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting solution
- Knowledge of PL/SQL
- Knowledge of cloud migrations of on-premise software
- Spoken and written English, commitment to learn French
- National of a CERN Member or Associate Member State
- Maximum two years professional experience since graduation in Computer Science/Engineering (or related field)
- Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before
- University degree required
