- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines

- Working knowledge of Python and ecosystem
- Spoken and written English
- Commitment to learn French
- National of a CERN Member State
- Maximum two years professional experience since graduation
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract
- No university degree applicants ineligible
- No PhD applicants eligible
Aufgaben
- Contribute to TIM system modernisation
- Supervise cooling, ventilation, electricity, and cryogenics installations
- Contribute to LHC Alarm Service consolidation
- Participate in full software development lifecycle
- Design and develop Java/Spring Boot backend services
- Acquire alarm data from various sources
- Process and route alarm data
- Archive long-term data in big data storage
- Design and develop event streaming pipelines
- Ingest and distribute high-throughput data
- Design and evolve REST APIs
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Write automated unit and integration tests
- Collaborate with accelerator operators
- Translate operational needs into software solutions
