- Non-EU/Non-EFTA citizens: confirmation of mandatory internship from university
Aufgaben
- Support the Structural Biology team in generating high-quality protein structures
- Collaborate closely with Diagnostics colleagues in Germany and USA
- Conduct wet-lab experiments on proteins, including high-throughput crystallisation screening
- Prepare cryo-EM grids and perform SPS-PAGE analysis
- Use IT tools to solve and build protein structures by X-ray crystallography and cryo-EM
- Plan and execute experiments independently
- Present results to stakeholders and in group seminars
- Learn the role of structural biology in drug discovery and diagnostics research
