- Master's or PhD studies in Computer Science (AI/NLP), Supply Chain Management, Environmental Law, ESG/Sustainability, or Engineering completed within last 12 months
- Interest in applying knowledge in a modern working environment
- Internship of at least 3 months
- Experience with AI or RAG-based systems
- Comfortable processing unstructured data (e.g., PDF documents)
- Proficiency in Python
- Interest in data extraction, automation, and risk analysis
- Familiarity with ESG or supply chain regulations (e.g., CSDDD, BAFA)
- Interest in sustainable sourcing and supplier due diligence
- Comfort with data visualization
- Ability to turn complex findings into practical insights
- Detail-oriented problem solver
- Independent problem solver
- Collaborative problem solver
- Strong English skills
- German language skills (plus)
- Most but not all qualifications met
Aufgaben
- Contribute to AI-powered supplier due diligence project
- Develop proof of concept for AI-based ESG KPI extraction
- Conduct gap analysis of Compliance Command Center
- Support risk visualization dataset creation
- Create implementation roadmap for system integration
- Benchmark suppliers against Science Based Targets
- Identify emissions-related risk in supply chain
- Develop AI document scanner for ESG KPI extraction
- Automate identification of humanitarian and ecological risks
- Process unstructured supplier files into structured insights
- Map global supplier network clusters
- Support regional risk visualization
- Contribute to benchmark report and digital tool
- Highlight suppliers not aligned with 1.5°C pathway
