- Set KPIs and monitor team performance
- Foster a culture of empowerment
- Manage the purchasing category budget
- Identify short- and mid-term risks and opportunities
- Drive strategic supplier relationships and negotiations
- Expand and enhance the supplier network
- Identify new global sources of supply
- Optimize the global supplier portfolio
- Provide insights on market dynamics and innovations
- Collaborate with internal departments and business partners
- Deputize for the Director of Purchasing
