Anforderungen
- Master’s degree in Automation, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
- Professional experience in industrial engineering, production engineering, automation, industrialization, or manufacturing process improvement
- Process optimization, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, Kaizen, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, time studies, statistical process control
- Experience in complex assembly, high-voltage products, electrical equipment manufacturing, engineering-to-order production, or high-variety/low-volume manufacturing
- Workstation design, layout planning, tooling concepts, ergonomics, equipment specification, manufacturing documentation, structured problem solving
- Familiarity with SAP, MES, digital work instructions, data analysis tools, or production KPI dashboards
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Structured, analytical, hands-on, solution-oriented mindset
- Business fluent English and German
Aufgaben
- Analyze GCB production layouts, assembly workflows, and testing processes
- Identify improvement potential in efficiency, safety, quality, cost, and lead time
- Design and implement optimized production processes and workstation concepts
- Implement automation solutions and improved material flow for GCB assembly
- Conduct time and motion studies and process mapping
- Perform value stream analysis and layout planning
- Conduct capacity analysis and bottleneck assessments
- Develop and standardize work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Improve manufacturing documentation and digital shopfloor processes
- Evaluate and specify new manufacturing technologies
- Implement automated handling systems and smart tools
- Implement digital work instructions and MES-related solutions
- Implement data-driven improvement applications
- Support industrialization activities and new product implementation
- Support series ramp-ups and CAPEX initiatives
- Support equipment procurement and PFMEA activities
- Support the introduction of new tools, jigs, fixtures, and testing equipment
- Collaborate with production, testing, and engineering teams
- Collaborate with industrialization, quality, and supply chain teams
- Collaborate with planning, HSE, and project management teams
- Collaborate with product management teams
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing projects
- Participate in Kaizen activities and Six Sigma-related improvements
- Participate in shopfloor optimization and digital factory initiatives
- Maintain and improve manufacturing master data and production standards
- Maintain routing information and KPI-based performance transparency
- Identify future automation potential
- Improve ergonomics and strengthen safety
- Enable scalable production capabilities
