In this role, you will lead efforts to enhance health, safety, and environmental standards at the Wettingen site. You will collaborate with diverse teams, conduct audits, and drive a proactive safety culture, making a significant impact on workplace safety and compliance.

Anforderungen

• •Bachelor’s degree or training in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering
• •Professional HSE certification based on Swiss legislation
• •Minimum 7 years of experience in HSE roles within a process manufacturing environment
• •Proven ability to draft HSE technical documentation
• •Solid knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards
• •Strong organizational and communication skills
• •Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative mindset
• •Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
• •Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)

Aufgaben

• •Ensure compliance with Swiss occupational safety, health, and environmental regulations
• •Implement Hitachi Energy policies and standards for the Wettingen operating unit
• •Support and consult all hierarchical levels on occupational safety, health, and environmental management
• •Conduct opportunity and risk analyses with stakeholders
• •Promote quality and safety culture through employee engagement programs
• •Conduct training at all hierarchy levels following the Wettingen HSE competence matrix
• •Investigate accidents and communicate findings to prevent future incidents
• •Plan and conduct internal and external audits for ISO 9001/45001 compliance
• •Prepare and implement the yearly site HSE plan and related documentation
• •Produce reports for project reviews and attend meetings to ensure HSE system effectiveness
• •Review HSE documentation from subcontractors and support them in meeting HSE requirements
