Anforderungen

  • Advanced medical degree (MD, PhD, PharmD)
  • 10+ years clinical and Medical Affairs experience
  • Demonstrated functional expertise in evidence generation, launch excellence, scientific engagement, clinical trials, medical operational excellence, and compliance
  • Clinical experience spanning research and medical affairs preferred
  • Experience in CRM TA preferred
  • Proven record in Launch Medical
  • Country Head level experience with P+L responsibility preferred
  • Global, multi, or above country experience desirable
  • Credibility building and collaboration skills
  • Influence across diverse stakeholder groups in matrix organization
  • Navigating environment of shared outcomes and cross-business accountability
  • Credible external representative for Novartis Medical Affairs
  • Engagement with global KOLs, medical societies, and industry forums
  • Operational excellence and innovation
  • Forward-looking and strategic mindset
  • Ability to create and implement vision with next-generation capabilities
  • Proven ability to build, lead, and support teams
  • Team leadership for strong results

Aufgaben

  • Support pre-launch preparation and new product launches internationally
  • Provide medical and scientific leadership for priority brands
  • Shape strategic direction of launches and Life Cycle Management (LCM)
  • Lead CRM Medical Affairs team for portfolio and new product launches
  • Focus on priority countries for CRM portfolio and LCM
  • Contribute medical and scientific leadership to priority assets and LCM
  • Develop innovative launch readiness solutions for the therapeutic area
  • Plan and execute medical and scientific engagement strategies
  • Develop medical education programs and scientific congresses
  • Build medical expert networks and input into scientific publication planning
  • Deliver strategic pre-launch and launch medical activities
  • Address patient and clinical adoption needs
  • Partner with Value and Access and Commercial Launch Strategy
  • Align with international Medical Affairs strategy
  • Engage with regional and priority country Medical Affairs
  • Consolidate International Medical Affairs perspective for launch considerations
  • Drive enterprise efficiency and support in-country Medical Affairs
  • Provide input into International Evidence Plan (IEP) planning and evidence generation
  • Offer integrated Medical Affairs perspective from priority countries
  • Ensure trial operationalization meets priority country needs
  • Provide medical input into post-TDP for innovative evidence solutions
  • Address patient, clinical, access, and value needs in healthcare systems
  • Identify and communicate IEP gaps for priority countries
  • Enhance patient access and optimal medical treatment
  • Build relationships with healthcare professionals and patient associations
  • Foster operational excellence and financial tracking
  • Lead and support a high-performing team
  • Foster medical transformation through talent attraction, development, and retention
